Introducing myself

New to the forum, novice at knifemaking.
Back in or about 89 I lived in the Texarkana area and went to the knife forging ABS class at old washington. Ive been carting around an anvil and little gas forge since then. I think it is about time to use them.
Ive got a pretty good setup shop now. (some of the tools for gunsmithing also translate to knife making.) I still have family in that area and get back there about 3-4 times a year. I am in the panhandle of Texas now.

Welcome LP. You found a good place for the beginner, novice and up. Fill out your profile in more detail, you might find there's another maker close by or an opportunity right around the corner where you can share and gain knowledge. Lot of good knifemakers out in NW TX, NM, OK areas.
After having attended an ABS class, you should be well on your way to getting some work done on that anvil you've been lugging around. Light 'er up and start moving some steel!
