Can't finde ferric chloride to etch blade
What else besides ferric chloride can I youse to etch the temper line in blades. If you have any info of a sub can you also tell me how to use it?? Thanks allot Dan |

You could probably use muratic acid, get it at the grocery store (Big ones) or Walmart type stores. It is used to raise the acid in swimming pools. Do you not have a Radio Shack nearby? That is where I get mine. It is used to etch printed circuit boards. If your local Radio Shack does not have it they should be able to order it for you since it is a standard item for them. |
