Gun Show find - Ralph Bone?

I picked this up in Ft. Worth yesterday at a ridiculously low price. 8" fighter blade looks like a Randall #1, "S" shaped brass guard, drop-dead gorgeous stag grips with brass butt that is shaped to follow the contour of the stag. Marked "BONE LUBBOCK, TX." inside a dog bone on one side and "A 80.6" on the other. It's in a Johnson's Leather sheath model B8. There isn't much info on the net regarding Ralph Bone. Someone posted somewhere that he later either went into business with or sold out to G.W. Stone. Someone else posted that he sold out to someone named Hipps. Supposedly he went back into the knife business for a while then sold out again to someone else who wasn't named. Supposedly, Ralph Bone later went to Colorado (someone even said Kansas) to teach gunsmiting and engraving. Bone, Stone and supposedly Hipps are gone now. I have seen online, various makers marks. Small bone, large bone outline with lettering described above inside the outline, and bone outline with name Bone above and letter H below (purportedly from the Hipps era). I would like to get some sense of approximately when my knife was made and who actually made it. If I can't definitively pin down the actual maker, I will assume (yes, I know) that Ralph Bone himself was the craftsman. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
