Cool idea Tracy, and very nicely done.

I can see a whole line of bug knives made by you. How about a bumble bee with black macarta and Osage orange.

Thanks for sharing!

Joe

Thank you all.
I have always planned from day one to eventually do some 'exotic' pieces and I've finally reached a skill level where I can execute some things that I couldn't have even a year ago. I won't be walking away from the style I've been trying to develop over the last couple years but it was time to step up a little. So much to learn, so little time...

Tracy, my friend---that is the biggest #### Yellow Jacket I have ever seen. I am terribly allergic to the little fellers but would try to protect myself from it at all costs---like turning tail and running like the devil! ---Sandy---

I was just thinking of you Sandy! I was wondering what kind of sheath (nest?) you'd come up with for that thing? I think a person would sever his renal artery just pulling it out to use!

Tracy, thats just amazing. Beautifully executed and still so clean in the details. I'm blown away by this one. I guess the best bit is that I know you generally make really nice straight knives, so the "art knife" thing is extra special... Jason.

Imagine seeing that setting on someones desk. A beautiful display concept. Needs an equally conceptual sheath. Like a fish or a snake biting the hornets head.

I think it would look cool upside down, on the ceiling above someones desk or bed.
