New Guy - Looking for help/advice in Durham area
Good evening all,
I've always been interested in blade smithing and recently took the plunge, got some steel (1084) and started grinding out a few simple pieces. I posted over on the newbies forum and someone suggested that I post over here and see if anyone is interested in giving me some advice before my first attempt at heat treating. 😀 Thanks, -bill |

I don't think we remembered that class when the date was decided. I will touch base with Chris and we will decide another date.

Hey Barry,
I'll try and make the meeting on the 23rd if I can. I posted pics of a couple simple kiridashi style utility knives that I had ground out (still need heat treat). This was over in the newbies area: http://www.knifenetwork.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=65824 Thanks, -bill |
