Shipping to Canada

Hi, I'm a new member. I live in Canada and I noticed some of the forum members here are Canadian as well. I was hoping some of you might tell me of your experiences ordering kits across the border. I am unfamiliar with the laws governing what Canada will allow and what it won't (But I heard on the news that some kid got an AK-47 mailed up to him - big scandal )

Greetings from Calgary

I've just received my second order. It took about 2 weeks from shipping date. THis order was marked "parts" and shipped by US postal/ canada post. No GST nor duty.
My previous shippment was marked "crafts supplies" and I was charged about $7 can duty and GST.

You can order anything accrosss the border as long as it is legal for sale. If you have proper ducumentation you can even ship guns.

Hope this helps.

I had no problem getting my kit either, paid $15 in taxes and duty, though. The kit did come quite quickly, however.

Thanks guys. I'll have to start ordering soon! BTW can I request what the parcel is marked (i.e. craft supplies, parts) or is it just hit and miss.
