Is this really the way to do it?
The posts are gone with no warnings and as most know, folks look at these for some time but when they are gone one day, it is over to most parties. Is this really the way to do this?

Dave,
The threads are still there. The default is for the forums to show threads from the last two weeks. That means that when a thread has not had a reply in two weeks, it drops off the display list. But it's not gone. There's two ways you can change this. One is temporary and the other is permanent. To temporarily change the settings
This method lets you view older threads in the "current" forum. With this method, when you come back later the forum will be set right back to the default of 2 weeks. ------- To permanently change the settings You can also permanently change the settings from your User Control Panel. Near the top of the forums is a series of links. Look for the one that says "User CP". This takes you to your User Control Panel.
------- You have a lot of control over what you see and how you see it. Last edited by Terry Primos; 01-18-2005 at 12:36 PM. |
