if you look closely in the back ground you can see 3 stands with the working anvils mounted...
then a few other corner pieces not shown LOL !! just cant walk away from a good deal it seems !!

I've made a couple very similar (just not as pretty). I've always thought of them as Japanese style "dogface" hammers - not sure where I got that from. Really like them when you get used to them. Because of the longer throw/distance between the handle center axis and the face of the hammer I'd recommend lowering the anvil accordingly to prevent wrecking your elbow.
They give really nice point of impact energy with good visibility, great for final working edge bevels up to ricasso area.

Rarely miss seeing an anvil, kind of like arrowheads for me. I just see them better than most folks.
