Good concept versus bad concept

Here's how you can tell the difference...

A bad concept is full of holes, but a good concept is air tight!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

A bad concept only has to have one hole.

A good concept can have many holes, as long as there are compensating factors to deal with those holes.

Generally speaking, a golf course must have 18 holes. A bad concept is thinking you're Tiger Woods and can hit the green from 400 yards, thus turning the nearest lake into a big giant hole moderately filled with golf balls.

Fixing a hole where the rain comes in and stops your mind from wandering (where it will go) is considered a good thing - at least musically. Consider this to be an example of a good concept, though honestly it may not be practical.

The 4,000 holes in Blackburn, Lancaster are still unexplained, though it is rumored that is the exact number it takes to fill the Albert Hall. A bad concept would be to assume that they originally came from the Albert Hall, but then again, who knows.

Holy cows have nothing to do with the concept of holes, except that they could indeed produce a significant amount of holy s**t, which would require a very large hole for disposal.

Think about how many holes you might have in your front yard if only someone would take the dirt out of them.

The best thing about holes are they give you something to do,... fill them!

Buy Hey!
Sometimes it's easier to just get a new concept, than to try and fix the old one.

I don't know why, but Mariano's post makes me laugh! I have no clue what he said, but it sure is funny!

Just digging deeper into the subject....

what I am trying to say is "A known devil is better than an unkown angel" hehehe
but applied to the good and bad concepts.

Nothingness:
What do you have when you loose the handle of a knife that has no blade?

Sorry I messed up the post!

Saludos

Mariano

It's simple really...

Before you use your concept, you need to check it for holes. If it has any, you need to fix them, or get a new concept. You must look at the concept from all angles and then turn it inside out.

for example I said, "A knife without a blade never needs sharpening!". Now, turn that inside out an re-examine it, "A knife with a blade always needs sharpening". See,... that may not be true. It may have some holes in it. I'm thinking serrated blades and non-functional knives. The good news is that the holes are inside out and don't need to be fixed,... so I guess it's O.K.

... see how that works!

But Tai, the inside-outness of a hole depends upon which side of it you look at.
Personally, I prefer bunnies with pancakes on their heads.
