Gold Lip MOP Straight Razor

Here's the other razor. I think it's better than the mammoth ivory. Practice makes better (but never perfect). Let me know what you think:

A century-old silver dollar for scale, and a couple of pre-Euro 5-Franc Belgian coins for my friend in the old country.

The blade, at its thinnest point, is only 0.014" thick. A scary grind for an old fart like me.

The specs are:

Blade: 5160 spring steel, hardened to 59 Rc.
Handle: Anodized titanium.
Scales: Presentation grade gold-lip mother-of-pearl
Hardware includes stainless steel screw (some gold plated), pivot, standoffs, bronze bushing & washer, nylon stop pin sleeve

For those who know the nomenclature, this is a 7/8 razor, and that's all the size info you need. In English measurements, the blade is 6" from tip to tip, 1/4" thick, and 7/8" wide. The handle is 5.125" long. Completely open, the razor is 9.5" long.

Many thanks for reading this far, and for looking at my amateur early morning foggy pictures.

-Frank
