Catch a ride on this one by Tai Goo
Circa 1990, meteoritic damascus, approx. 12 in OAL. One of the first integrals and a personal transitional piece for Tai. The blade is tripple hollow beveled and handle is ebony. The damascus pattern is quite complex and well done. I'm glad this knife came home to live with me and I hope you enjoy looking at it! |

kinda like " Oosic nouveau " art work
definitely not a bollocks dagger... almost afraid to ask, but does it have a name -excellent damascus mounted with a " biomorphic, johnson-esque" handle, sporting a bareback anthropomorphic figure Last edited by Greg obach; 04-16-2006 at 07:54 AM. |

I like pic 2. Three shots capturing what the viewer needs to see to get the feel of the knife without holding it. The little guy on the angled shot gives a sense of scale and shows the thickness of the blade and the angle of the bevels and leads you to the second shot and forces you to notice the bevels from that angle. The third level is a bonus. Any damaskus pic makes you want to say; "I'd like to see that close up". This pic delivers.
Pic one is just incredible. The depth of field... lit up from butt, right out to the tippy tip. That rich royal purple's value compliments the ebony. See it disappear in the black and white shot. __________________ "Many are chosen, but few are Pict" "The doer alone, learneth" NT Neo-Devo |

Me Too Keith! Can you imagine how neat it would be to have a book of his knives! Even with some sort of explanation, or at least a little text with each one. Tai, you ought to be thinking about that for future reference. You could probably produce it youself as talented as you are. Do you have photographs af every knive you've made? Man I'd love to see all of them at one time. |

Great pics Buddy! Thanks. You really captured the character of the steel in the B and W shots. |
