I don't know what kind of tape they use, but I think it is the process that matters.
We've all tried to make our own belts, and now buy them.
Once you have one or two slap you in the face a couple hundred times before you can turn the machine off, you will agree, it's not worth it.
It REALLY hurts.

In the grinding belt biz, the proper vernacular for the splicing tape is called" joints". Run across a few in the past, in trades and so forth. Have tried buying the joints from all the belt Co's, but they act like it is a national secret and will not sell if you are not a distributor. They want you to buy the belts, not make your own. Have tried many methods, but still cannot get one to stay together over prolonged use.
