Paragon Kiln TC Location
If someone would be so kind as to tell me where Paragon locates their TC inside the chamber of their knife blade kilns, specifically the KM-14D model, I would be greatly appreciative.
Do they locate the TC up through the bottom or in through the side? How far do they extend the TC into the chamber? (about center?) Actually, any FACTORY made knife blade kiln will do that has a small chamber like the Paragon KM-14D (4.5x5.5x14"). I am building my own kiln soon and would like this info for guidance/decision purposes. I noticed dcknives put his TC up through the bottom and located the end of it near where the knife blade will be. Thanks, DAVID |

My Paragon KM24 has the TC located through the side about 2 inches from the top and 8 to 10 inches back from the opening.
Hope that helps. Steve __________________ Stephen Vanderkolff Please come on over and check out my website. http://www.vanderkolffknives.com/ Thanks |

I would be interested to also know where manufacturers locate the TC in an oven with a smaller chamber like mine will have. Although I would think more than likely a similar location. DAVID |
