Blacksmith Friend shop liquidation

Hello all,

I have a friend who is looking to liquidate his entire shop

He has asked me to act as a pseudo broker. so if you see anything on the list that you are interested in please e-mail or call me

NC Whisper Forge - two burner, good lining condition, button start is not working - $350

Peter Wright Anvil - looks to be 80-100 Lb I can get an exact weight if you like, beautiful face - $250

Centaur forge firepot and traveling (breakdown) forge - $250
Champion double axle blower (spins very nicely) for above - $300

4" leg vice goes with coal forge or separate, jaws close flush and threads are in great shape - $200

Lincoln "doghouse style" 220v stick welder - $200

Lincoln 110v Mig welder (no gas hookup) - $400

Wood cutting bandsaw - $200

Spoon and bowl swage block - $150

also a pretty good amount of mild steel stock (mostly small rounds)

assorted old style wood ammo boxes - $30 ea

dewalt 4" side grinder - $50

Makita (i think) 4" side grinder - $50

Harbor freight duck bill ASO - $50

Some odds and ends tongs, jigs, hammers, beeswax, coalblack, etc


He would be willing to sell everything for $2000.00

Stephen could you bring the anvil down if you still have it. Carl is going to do a demonstration on selecting an anvil and I am trying to get as many different makes and types as I can together for him to use in the demonstration. If yours isn't too big you might bring it too.

We're gonna have to pace ourselves Harry. That many anvils in one place may stir up the "global warming" pseudo-science folks with a deviation toward something about axis shift and earthquakes along the "Bush Fault".

I'm not sure I can get the ones from the antique shop and wanted more than mine and the one you bring. That would only be one new fair anvil(mine), one new good anvil(Charlie's) and the little beast you haul around;-) I do have a little finger pincher on my bench that is shaped a lot like an anvil. When I was looking for an anvil it was kind of like a blind squirrel with a cold looking for an acorn. I thought if we could show the good, the bad and the ugly it might make for an informative demonstration. Your call though.
