Hi metal99! I am a newbie to knife making. I'm almost done shaping my first real knife. There aren't many knife designs out there that I can say "I would buy that knife to carry and use on all my ventures!" But your knife designs are terrific! If I went to a knife show to find a knife I would like, it would be yours! Great Job! - Poppy

Those turned out great! What is next on your knife making agenda? I need to learn how to work with leather. I'm making a knife right now that needs some leather. How much does it coat to get started with tools And a few supplies do you suppose? Or maybe better I should have you make one. Lol.

Thanks Ricky. The next thing on my agenda is a batch of three. A scandi for a KITH, small skinner for a friend, and a fighter for myself. I just have to find out if the fighter I drew up is legal. It's got a full hand guard that could be considered to be some form of "knuckle buster"

Basic leather work is pretty straight forward. As far as the leather tools goes. The only actual leather working tools I have are a few stamps, punches, stitch grooving tool and a little plastic burnisher to smooth out the edges of the leather. It probably cost me around $50-60 to get setup to make sheaths. There are some decent YouTube videos on leather work. That's where I got some of my information.

What KITH are you doing? Is it still open? I've wanted to do one of those.
