3" to 6"

i have a 9" contact wheel . figure I would pick up a 1 to 1 1/2 hp motor at harbour freight, not sure what the rbm,s will be. so I figure 3" to 6" would be fine. perhaps you all have suggestions. i thank you for your replys. I have a set of 1/8" thick by 1 1/4" by 3.5" center cut and sanded to a even thickness mastadon ivory knife scales if anyones interested. i have seen what you guys can do with pocket knives and i have a long way to go to reach that level of craftmanship. i would think these scales would be better suited for folders then they would be for fixed blade. theres no bark just ivory. i currently have them on e bay for $50.00 but can take them off if one of you are interested. since you all have been so nice i would sell them to one of you for half that or trade for sumthin. let me know.
