Antler Handled Knife pic
Here is a little utility knife I just finished. File steel blade antler handle with some filework. It is about 7" overall including the forged lanyard hole with a 3 " blade.

love that style of knife- looks first rate. my personal feelings on rivets in the sheath- no- i would have used needle and thread- think it goes better with that style- but to each his own. now that i relook at your picture, maybe those are decerations or something. paul

Yeah those are aluminum rivets Paul. They are holdin on the clip I made from a spoon handle. I should have taken a pic from the other side top show it better. The is the natural color on the antler too. I just made sure not to sand it down beyond that point. Thanks Brian

Trish the antler slabs were pretty easy actually. First I cut them down with a scroll saw lengthwise. And then sanded them flat on the inside (the side that will touch the knife). To keep the texture on the outside all of ur sanding to shape has to be donfrom that side or you will lose the look. Hope this is what you wanted if not ask away and I will try to answer. Thanks Brian
