Scout Knife...
Here's one I should have finished yesterday but, so I got it done tonight. The handle is acutally brown but with the inside light it turned out kind of redish. Its got a 6" 9260 blade with wrought iron fittings. The handle is a piece of stag that Chuck "Wild Rose" had sent me. I believe it came from a European knife at one time. I guess this is a recycle job.....

Hey to Ray;
Really nice looking knive.. Now to ask a dumb question; Does that tang go all the way thru the antler handle; or is it two pieces ?? I like the stub on the back with the ring thru it.. Please tell me how you do a bent tang knive and handle; as I've got a nice blade from Chuck, and I don't want to mess it up.. Thanks -- Be well Thom Quote:

Thom, The tang does go all the way threw the handle. There's a couple ways to do it. One is you make the tang long enough, heat it up and bend it and then thread the end. Also you can braise or weld a piece of all thread to the tang and bend it the way you need to. With a piece of stag like this you need to do some compound bends to make things square with the butt cap.
