New digs in north Idaho
Hi gang!
Here are a few pics of the 20x36 (with 20x20 overhang). The outside is done and has a bathroom and shower (hint...visitors welcome after we get moved up). No insulation yet and about half of the shop is wired (will have 6 220 outlets and about 20 110s when complete). I hate still being in Colorado and the shop so far away, but, hopefully, come next spring, we'll be moving....yeehaa! Dana Last edited by Dana Hackney; 09-25-2013 at 05:37 PM. |

Very nice Dana. I also like your choice of tractor.
Plus 1 on the hammer in. __________________ Bruce Bingenheimer MLazyB Custom Knives ABS Journeyman Smith |

Man, that looks nice. North Idaho is sure pretty. If you're ever coming through SW Idaho, give me a holler and we can get some coffee and talk knives .

Thanks, Craig, Bing, Ed and Jeremy! We love that area and have been trying to get relocated there for some years now and it finally looks we'll make it by next spring/summer (Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise). Once we get the simple house up and the shop finished, we'll certainly break out the BBQ (for the deer, elk, moose, bear, cat, squirrel, turkey, grouse and whatever we can yank out the waters up here) and see what we can do with rounding up some real talent (Ed, Bing, Bruce, Steve, Roger,...) and hold a small hammer-in .
Jeremy, where about are you located in SW Idaho? Ed and Bing: I like the green and yellow too. We got a fantastic deal from a really nice old retired preacher/rancher. He even delivered Lil' Johnny for free! Take care guys, Dana Last edited by Dana Hackney; 09-26-2013 at 01:43 PM. |

Looks like paradise to me Dana. I'm sure you and Sandy will really enjoy getting out there full time. Look forward to coming that way for a visit and a few lessons from you.

thanks guys! Steve: absolutely. Spokane is where you would need to fly into. It's about an hour and a half from our place.
Take care! Dana |
