Scrimshaw artist wanted

Looking in for some recommendations. Even someone starting out is a possibility.
Thanks.

No plastics

Got a very fast reply. But, sad to say he does not work with artificial materials.
Still searching.

Sandra Brady, or sandyscrim. Look up some of her work here in the photo gallery. Here is a place to start looking for an artist near you.

They have a state by state map so you can see if any are near you. I have an artist friend, but she isn't there yet on scrimshaw, but when she gets it down I will certainly get her name out there. She paints with water colors and her paintings look like photos from only a few feet away. If you want a portrait done of someone or your pets she's a starving artist and is fairly inexpensive. It's a shame as she is so talented. She is also a Gulf War vet.

Thanks!

Sandra says no to the micarta but she will do work on artificial items. So, I do have a chance.
Thanks again.
