New Randall owner

Hey guys,
Glad to find this forum.. I'm hoping to get some help.. i just became the proud owner of two Randall knives.. the model one fighting knife with 8 in blade, and the model 2 dagger, also with 8 in blade.. these knives have the stacked leather handles and the duraluminum butt cap with a castle nut, brass guard... original sheath for both.. they are like a set. I'm looking to get an approximate date for them, so I can put them in the right spot of my collection.. any help would be greatly appreciated.. the only markings are the Randall Made stamp on blade framed by scimitars, and the 1 - 8 and 2 - 8 on the back of the sheaths respectively. Thanks again,
B. Allan Miller

Will try to get some pics up within a day or two

Looking forward to seeing your knives and hopefully we'll be able to help you date them.

Cheers!

Also, pictures should have front and back of both sheaths, sharpening stone (if in pocket), good pic of blade to see grind, close ups or hi res pictures of blade stamp and spacers at hilt, and possibly a picture of the tang nut on the butt. These will help bracket the date the knives were made and define their era. Regards, looking forward to seeing them.

You can open a free account in Photo Bucket, post your pictures there, then copy the code and post the code here. That will enable you to post pictures in any forum on the net.
