Was going through the abandoned project bucket and these were some of Junko's folder blades. These date back to about 2005 or so. She's not making knives though I may have her finish the body design and I'll build them as a "design by Junko".

Some progress from the folder bodies in Post #10. Cut handle scales, drilled and preliminary shaping:
Body 10 is a recreation of a knife that Stan Fujisaka had helped me with back in 1998. It had some boo-boo's so was kept as an educational piece. Stan will have been gone from the knife world for 10 years end of Decemeber so this piece is a tribute to my mentor and friend. __________________ Mike Last edited by M&J; 11-29-2023 at 10:54 PM. |

Have not made an update to the folder batch. Body shaping to 220G. Detents installed, locks tapered and fitted. Basic handle scale shaping to 220G. Next step is blade finishing then final body shaping.
