There are some amusing patents, type in any subject in the search box. I like to sort by oldest first.
Am collecting a file of old patent drawings to be used as clip art, the old drawings are great. __________________ Happy Hammering, wear safety glasses. Gene Chapman Oak and Iron Publishing www.oakandiron.com/ |

Pretty cool Gene, looks almost like a cigar clipper.

Okay, so you hold the chicken in one hand, and that doo-dad in the other, and then ask the chicken nicely to put it's head in the device?

I can't remember the last time I talked to a chicken... but you are probably right!

I think that that inventor could probably complicate the recipe for mud.

Looking back 60 some years ago to my birth I remember seeing a nurse carrying something that looked like that. I don't think she smoked cigars...........

When I was a kid stewing hens were beheaded on a stump, neck held between two nails and a hatchet did the deed. All the neighbor boys and I would watch the proverbial, "Running around like a chicken with it's head cut off" Great fun for Nebraska kids. My mother would butcher 40 or so every summer when local farmers were raising new laying hens.
Thos old stewing hens made the best darn soup. __________________ Happy Hammering, wear safety glasses. Gene Chapman Oak and Iron Publishing www.oakandiron.com/ |

Why not just choke the chicken?
