If you know your url, in this case,

http://www.scotiametalwork.com/pix/Hopkin_Dirk.jpg

Click the IMG button above, and just paste it in the pop up box and it should be taken care of.

I have just re-read the tutorial on postings and am following the thing to the letter of the law. What gives?

Mike,

Here's the syntax you'll want to use:

[IMG] http: //www.scotiametalwork.com/Hopkin_dirk_handle.jpg [/IMG]

I inserted a space after the first [IMG] tag and before the last one, and a space after the : in the URL so the code would show up.

You've apparently moved the picture, but you get the idea. I tried going directly to the URL (http://www.scotiametalwork.com/Hopkin_dirk_handle.jpg) and got a file not found error.

That's a cool knife. I really want to see more of your work. That's just beautiful.

That is so cool! I'm usually not a fan of the shape of dirk handles, but I really like this one. And the metalwork on the scabbard is amazing, too. Well done!

Wink

This is just the work of your average blacksmith who happens to get lucky whittlin' once in a while (he said modestly). Even a blind hog finds an acorn sometimes.

And thanks for the advice, guys.

Mike
