Smile New member introduction....

Hello Knife Network. My name is Brandon, and I would Iike to say hello to you guys and gals. I've got a few knives here at home and every time I "promise" myself that "this will be the last knife", I wind up buying more. More... More.

Thanks for hosting this great site.

Smile Enjoy the site Brandon

And Welcome. Part time maker here. I enjoy making knives and doing leather too I found. I see you are more of a collector, but there are some knife kits from many different places if you ever decide to make a custom handled knife for yourself. I am not averse to making a good quality kit knife and have a few sitting around. Usually big Chef's knives as I had limited equipment.

It can be addicting making knives and will quickly get expensive if it runs away with you.lol But if all you want to do is make a kit knife or folder, hand tools will be plenty with maybe a cheap drill press thrown in. There are a lot of pictures of nice knives here, some unbelievably artistic. So enjoy all you can. Ask questions as there are collectors here as well as makers, indeed some are both.

Jim
