File conversion
Hi Guys,
This doesn't have to do with knives but I figure one of you guys might know the answer. I have to submit a file for a graphic's studio for putting on hats, shirts, ect for my Reserve unit and the shop says if I send them an EPS file they will waver the setup fee. I tried searching the net but all I got was how to convert from EPS, not to it. Jim Last edited by Drac; 01-09-2006 at 08:52 AM. |

Jim,
Your question got me curious. I use Photoshop LE and went to a saved image. The image was saved in jpeg. Resaved the image as eps and it worked. For publications I save in TIFF, thats what the print shop wants. __________________ Happy Hammering, wear safety glasses. Gene Chapman Oak and Iron Publishing www.oakandiron.com/ |

Gene, none of the programs I use even have EPS formats. I'd never even heard of this format before this weekend. I took over a fact finding mission from a guy who left our unit. His notes state that, but I'm a bit out of touch on graphics. The last time I worked in a shop that did silk-screening everything was hand drawn and photographed. Multi-drawing for multicolor, a major pain. I don't have anything much beyond the basics that come with a computer. The best I have is Printshop, not a major one for photos.
