For your review
I thought I'd post this and see what y'all think. This is an Oconee with green canvas micarta scales and brass pins. Made from 3/8" OTS (Old Truck Spring). 3 3/4" X 1" blade 8 5/8" overall. Although I did use some power while making it, a lot of the final shaping and finishing is done by hand so I thought you folks might be interested.
Comments and critiques are welcome. Thanks for looking, Carey [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] __________________ Everything you do says something about who and what you are so ALWAYS sign your work with excellence. Thanks for the kind words.
The micarta is store bought green canvas with a 240 grit finish so it has a little 'tooth' to it. Looks like a very nice clean user package. Smooth eye pleasing lines, and well done sheath too. Bravo! Like the dark blade too.

Very nice design and well done Carey. I like green canvas micarta a lot with a matte finish.

Thanks Tim,
The micarta has a nice feel to it even if it ain't tribal. Carey __________________ Everything you do says something about who and what you are so ALWAYS sign your work with excellence. You are cordially invited to check out my web site: Handmade Knives by Carey Quinn |
