engraved burr oak bowie

Here is a beautiful bowie it is 13.5 inch long and the blade is 8.5 inch long the blade is twist damacus. The handle is black walnut hope you like it

And photo #2 is the bolster . it is nickle silver .. In the works is another beautiful knife a booth dagger by Lee with bark ivory , the theme of this one is the dead mans hand ..

The scroll pattern on the bolster works well with this knife.

Just the right amount of open space to contrast with the engraving. This is a lesson that's hard to learn....filling space.
You really do a great job.
