2nd or 5th Sheath

Hello:
I have been lurking around and reading as much as possible to all of the advice given here. I did'nt know if this was my second or fifth sheath. The first 4 were almost identical so I repeated the same mistakes 4 times. They can be seen at http://forums.dfoggknives.com/index.php?showtopic=6781
. I was'nt expecting to make the sheaths.
This sheath is the result of that expierence and all the good knowledge here.
Thanks for all who reply here and take the time to share their knowledge.
The knife can be seen here http://forums.dfoggknives.com/index.php?showtopic=6941

Sooooo, Time to stand up and drop my skirt

Thanks,
Chuck

Nice job Chuck -- not many of us can say we made one better in our early attempts. Thanks for joining us and sharing your work
I'll offer only one small tip -- try to narrow the width of your welt, so the stitching is a bit closer to the edge. In the long run it will help prevent splitting and/or fraying of the welt.
Looking forward to seeing more !!

Mike

Mike:
Thanks for the advice. I see what you are saying, it would keep it from looking awkward (sp?). My next kinfe is of simular design so I can incorporate that.
Thanks Again,
Chuck
