"Ocate" with Rayskin inlays

Blade:* 440C High Chromium Stainless Tool Steel, Hardened and Tempered to Rockwell C59, flawlessly mirror polished, finely engraved by Jay Fisher
Fittings/Bolsters: 304 Stainless Steel, mirror polished, hand engraved by Jay Fisher
Handle: Michigan Copper Ore: Calumet, Copper, Hecla Gemstone
Sheath: Red Stingray Skin Inlaid in Hand-Tooled 9-10 oz. Leather Shoulder

This gallery has had the privelege of displaying the works of many very competent sheath makers. The sheaths that incorporate exotic inlays are always the recipient of great praise. Some that come to mind are the masterpieces by Chuck Burrows, Dave Cole, Chris Kravitts and now these by Jay Fisher of New Mexico. This man has been a well established multi-talented craftsman/artist for years. Let's give him a big welcome to these forums------
