Threads take on a life of their own. Sometimes the ones you least expect end up staying popular the longest, and, like this one, changing directions from it's original subject. It's difficult to figure out. Sometimes there are some interesting and and potentially informative threads that might get only a couple of posts. I've quit trying to analyze. I just ride along as long as the wheels are turning.

Sometimes the fat lady is very selective about when and where and how long she sings. And just when you think she's already sung, she comes back out for an encore.
