Bad Boy , Bad Boys, What You Going To Do!

From me and my bud Leon Redbone - Merry Xmas!

Leon hates having his picture taken even more than I do.

Raymond if you want I can clean out my brush once a week and send it to you! You should be able to weave a nice rug in a few months time that way. Actually my mop is a bit on the short side. At one time it hung below my buttocks (about 36").

Jeez I haven't heard Spin and Marty in a coon's age.

Hammer - Doc Watson is tops in my book too: also Chet and Alison Crouse (love her voice and fiddle work!) and Ricky Scaggs and the master of Dawg-Dave Grisman and....

Tim - You forgot Charlie Daniels! The Godfather of Southern Rock

Hope you all had a great Xmas

Chuck

Drag 'em out guys! Is this a common thread that we haven't paid attention to? I have squandered enough turntable parts to spin my vinals for the rest of my days (I hope). I've got close to seven hundred LPs (some I ain't to proud of) Love the sound of a good needle machine.
Redbone goes fishing with me all the time and Leon Russell joins me at the forge when Neil Young can't make it.
Kottke is always around too.

Big Chief Buffalo Nickel..........

Merry Christmas!!!

Yeah Baby! Let's hear some more. Didn't realize what I was starting here, but keep it rolling.

Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young, Carlos Santana, John Mayall, Papa John Creach, BB King the master himself and we better not forget Jimi!

For those who now nothing of what we speak vis-a-vis Leon Redbone (like my bud he is quite the enigma) check it out
http://www.leonredbone.com. If you've got Real Audio loaded you can even get a taste of his music.

Here is a great chuckle for those in the know-

Chuck, You got to be an old fart to remember Spin and Marty. Bet you even had Micky Mouse ears, thats probably why your wearing that hat......

Think I'm going to head out, light up my forge and play some Jingle Bells on my anvil.

Now I've just got to make it threw my wife's birthday tomorrow and then its clear sailing for another year.

If I need any hair I can get all I need out of the shower drain.......

Tim - Name That Tune Eh? - we could keep this up forever!
How about "Almost Cut My Hair"(I still have my original LP)? Appropriate wouldn't you say! or maybe "Suite Judy Blue Eyes"

Also I got an email that you sent a PM. Something is going on because I keep getting the message that my inbox is full and when I go to it nothing is there that I can see. I sent an email to the CKD webmaster. Can you help?

If you want email me at
chuck@wrtcleather.com

Carry on-
Chuck

can you name the bands CSNY were in before they formed CSNY?

You guys are too old for me

I did see Charlie Daniels
in Souther Ca. in the
early 90's.
He played the whole show, walked off
stage and everyone went wild..
Then after a few minutes came
back out and played
Devil went down to Georgia

Oh Yeah when i was a kid,
3 dog night played at
Six Flags in St.Louis..
Really couldnt appreciate
good music then though LOL..

Way before my time but what
about Iron Butterfly???
