The handle is ironwood? The grain seems different, somehow. Do you get a nice wootz pattern on the blade?

That knife is great. How do you cut in those lines around the integral bolster? Are they forged in then cleaned up with a file? Or put in some other way? Do I ask too many questions? Just trying to learn all I can.
