i came over here to post my boner but i lost it shortly after i woke up.
btw, someone mentioned earlier about putting a boner in the freezer to get it harder...i'm not sure this will work...i was at the pool the other day and my boner lost much of its temper in the cold water...fortunately, however, this was easily remedied by getting out of the pool, lounging in a chair with a margarita and watching the bikini-clad ladies walk by...i don't know what it is about college girls, but they seem to have a real knack for heat-treatment. some of them can make a boner with their eyes closed. (btw, be careful with the margarita-quench...quenching in too high a concentration of alcohol tends to make a softer blade although oddly enough, you'll swear it looks a lot better than it actually does.) actually, while i'm by no means an exceptionally talented knife-maker, i have found that occasionally i'm able to make a superior boner by keeping my eyes closed.. generally this is when i'm working with old, junkyard steel. when working with this kind of steel, i suggest either closing one's eyes or turning all the lights out in your shop. don't worry about not being able to see what you're working with...if you have a little experience, you'll naturally gravitate toward the heat and know exactly where to pound.

Was out at the forge this morning, and thought what better than a bush-boner. So here is my humble attempt. This is right before the final heat to anneal.

Nice one Carl!
I was going to post some pictures of my Bonners, but I cant figure it out!!! Has the procedure changed for posting pictures? I tried to edit my gallery here on KNet, but no luck!!
