Files?

What kind of files do you use to file the back spacer on a knife? I am new to the knife scene and am waiting for my kit to arrive as I type..

Thanks, John

Re: thanks. ..

If you are just shaping the spine to match the liners, then use the flat files. If you are looking to do file work like Coop did, then you will need a small assortment of files.

Round, Triangle & flat in various sizes depending on the pattern.

Check out the filework tutorial, the link is at the top of the page.

Good Luck & have fun,

Bob Sigmon
