A good looking, and most important, usable knife.

Very nice looking knife. Is that the forge finish? Or a forced patina?

Nice Rob, looks like a real workhorse with a little bling.

I was going to guess micro grinder Ray, but they are awful precise and even.
I did grind/shape a soldering iron tip for wood and a stainless steel stamp for leather, but nothing that would work that clean on synthetic bone. Come on Rob, fess up!

Since I have looked at a lot of Rob's other work, Ricky, I'd say forged finish for the most part. He's pretty fair with a hammer. As thin as that stock is along the spine, most likely just worked with a flatter/finishing hammer and used precise controlled hits. Either way it finished nicely.

I would like to know about the tracks also. Surely its not a rubber stamp and ink pad.

If I capture those three factors in each knife I build, I am assured the knife will become a piece that is used and treasured by its owner!

Yeah thats a nice one, the tracks do add to the overall look.

MY guess, i think the tracks were were cut out, filled with epoxy and sanded flush. Does the winner of the "how did he do that" trivia game get a prize?
