Need Help:

If I may ask you GERU's of photos a question--- I am trying to improve my knowledge base on taking and altering pictures. The local college is offering an online interactive class on cs4. please look this link over and give me your comments. Thanks, Merle Rush.

Merle, it's good to have you back!
I know your schedule has been keeping you so busy.
I make no claim to being a "guru", but the course content looks interesting. I would think it would enable you to showcase your excellent work to your advantage. I know you are constantly trying to update your education, and I'm sure you would be able to utilize and benefit from such a class. I'll be expecting to see some of your work on this forum.
Hope we can get together this spring, and hope all is well with your family.

I would definitely take the class if I were you. Even if something mildly interests me I have found that a class was a great way to further my knowledge as well as be very interesting and fun. Go for it!!!

Need Help!

Thanks guys, I still haven't gotten any input from the "gerus" yet. I was hoping to get their years of vast knowledge input on this class. I need to be able to fine tune my pictures. I was hoping this class might be the answer.

While not a Guru on Photoshop per say, the link you posted will indeed help you progress with Photoshop. It looks like it is a well rounded curriculum and should help you with your knife photos. There is also a website you can use called www.lynda.com which for about $25 per month allows you to use video tutorials on subjects you may need additional help with, but I feel that the college course would be the best way to proceed. Hope this helps.

Barbara
