A Gentleman's Bowie

Even though this Bowie has a modern Damascus blade, the ball tipped guard w/ recessed escutcheons & clam shaped pommel give it the look & feel of a nineteenth century piece.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Gary

Thanks, Don. Much appreciated.

WBE--The inlet is recessed with the edges of the handle being rounded over.

So, are you saying the inlay is below the surface of the wood? Kinda like the banks of a sinkhole pond?

Any Riverboat gambler would look very dapper with such a blade. I'd like to see the sheath that goes with it.

I hope that's a good thing.
