Touch of Pink
About 15 years ago, I tried unsuccessfully to convince a few makers to make a pink titanium folder for me, and finally had to do it myself - to compliment the pink and yellow Harley I have in mind.
3" Damasteel TNT pattern blade with a rhodolite thumb stud. Timascus scales in pink, fuschia and gold Fileworked Ti liners in gold From the looks of the photo, next stop should be Coop's studio. Coop's photo replacement: Last edited by Kelly Carlson; 11-02-2003 at 09:41 PM. |

I think you'll need a bigger knife ...

Perfect, Gabe!
I'm laughing so much I can't think of a response. |

Your pink and yellow Harley comment is distracting from the beauty of that knife... What with all the laughter and all. I've never seen one that colour. Who knows - might look good...
I once saw a Porsche 911 Carrera II in Melbourne - shocking pink, ####### plate - "STUPID" Nuf said... And that is another beaut piece of artwork from you, as usual. Jason. __________________ JASON CUTTER BLADEART Jason Cutter @ Dr Kwong Yeang Knifemaker, Australia (Matthew 10.16) |

Kelly-
Cool as always...in this case real cool  Gotta dig all that color... I'm really liking the new blade you've been playing with of late. That grind on top gives this such a nice dagger feel. Riding a Harley dressed up like that and they'll sure to see you coming from afar in the nearby New Hampshire farm fields...8o Dennis Greenbaum Yeah Baby! |

The combination of this knife being wielded alongside a Harley of the same combination works perfectly for me--only it better be Carmen Electra and NOT Kelly Carlson shaking off the helmet....
Looks great Kelly! This one has pizzazz! Coop |

Thanks, guys.
We need more bright colors - just consider the success of male birds with the finest, most colorful plumage. I'm sure that this knife will find a sufficiently self confident owner, but I'll probably have to make a much larger, tactical pink version of it to ride it into Laconia, NH, during next year's "bike week", along with an entourage of former Special Forces associates. |

I got to handle this knife at the NCCA show last weekend...it's beautiful...the colors are not as intensely shocking as it shows in this photo....(Coop help!!!!) It is a pleasant shade of pink....really! Great Job Kelly

You certainly do have a very bold use of colors. I'd like to get a better look at the spine if that is possible. Thanks.

I played with this one recently as well. Kelly certainly does do some breathtaking work. The fit and finish were outstanding and that anodizing just about knocked me out. Nice filework on the spine too.

Just replaced my mediocre photo with a professional version from Coop.
Expert photos really do make a difference! |
