Info. on a Fixed Blade

Ok if i could figure out how to post pics ive got some but i can't so heres a description:
On one side in quotes it says "Sabre".
On the other side it says:
J.H. Thompson
(Cutlery) LTD.
Sheffield
England

Any info would be great wen i figure out how ill post pics.
Any quetstions 'bout it would be good.

The only reference that I could find on the maker is that they were in business in Sheffield around 1955.

Bernie Lavine rates the knives at medium collector value.

I hope this helps but that's all I could find in all of my reference materials.
