GCKG Fall Meeting - Social - Friday Oct 12th

The fall meeting of the Guild is three weeks from today.

Our host for the fall meeting, Joe Sangster, has advised ?the facility? is available for a social gathering on Friday.

So, for the early arrivals come on by around 5:30 or so. There will be a grill and burgers and soft drinks.


Joe needs a head count for obtaining meat/chips/buns/etc.


Please RSVP to me Not Later Than Monday, October 8th with your head count.


In an earlier email, I attached directions and a list of local hotel/motels. Let me know if you need another copy.


Additionally, ?the facility? is out in the country where the pumpkins grow.. really! Joe will have balloons tied to a sign alongside the highway to indicate where you turn to follow the track to the facility.

And finally, the owner of ?the facility? has advised no alcohol is permitted on the property.

Joe has received a few RSVP?s for the Friday night social. I have received a few RSVP?s as set forth in the broadcast email sent today.

If you plan on attending the Friday social and have not RSVP?d, please respond within this thread ASAP.. please!

For those of you who have never hosted a Guild meeting, it's important to remember that the only way to know how much food to buy is by letting the host know that you are planning on attending. This includes not only the social on the night before but lunch on the day of the meeting. So thanks to everyone who has R.S.V.P. to Joe.

Sorry guys, I forgot about rsvp'ing. I can't make it to the friday social, but I will be there saturday with my wife. Joe, if you want me to bring anything food wise, let me know.
