weird clay harden cable

Well it didn't turn out the way I thought it would.

You can kinda see the slanted saw tooth clay pattern I used.
It's alittle over 8" long with a 3 1/2" blade. The handle isn't totally welded together, I thought it would be neat but I should have welded it totally up. I was going for a polished look on one end and the other just rough and ugly. At least it didn't go PING!

Hey Rik I have always been partial to All Cable Knives.... As a matter of fact I have an all cable spoon and fork too. I was on hand to see those made for me and am waiting to give them a try myself.

Great job I really like the way it turned out.

Rik,

Really sweat knife. How about a better photo of the handle detail, so we can see what you are talking about. As I have been playing with cable myself, I may be exploring this sort of treatment (right now I'm attempting pattern welding).

Mike,

Shoot me the photos and I'll post them on my server for you. Then I'll send you the links to post.
