Boise Show CANCELLED

Just opened up my email this morning and got a notice that the Rocky Mtn. Knife show, scheduled for 10-11 Nov. has been cancelled due to not enough vendors signing up.

Just another sign of the times......things have been tough for the past 4 years with this economy, and it seems that folks are more cautious now then ever.

If you signed up for the show, and already made hotel reservations....don't forget to cancel them!

Sorry to hear of anyone going through hard times. I'm not sure that it is a nation-wide trend though as I have a record number of table holders for my mid-west show (customs only).

Don't know the ins and outs of the Boise show, but I always wondered if it would be more popular just before hunting season kicked in.

Ed, that is bad news. Going to miss seeing your knives (and your ugly mug) here in Boise. I think not having it along side the Gun Show last year was the death nell. It needed time to mature before going it alone.
Going to miss seeing all the Montana knives.
Bob
See you in San Antonio

Thanks for posting this ED. I was a table holder also but since my ISP went TANG UNIFORM my emails have been bouncing. Contacted Dave and he said there were just not enough vendors. Tried to start a new show at the wrong time I think. Maybe a few years it might be better. Also hunting season really sucks for knife buyers attending.
