Mom came home yesterday

She's glad to be back and I'm really happy to have her home I'm telling you! She's doing fine with only one eye. She seems to be adjusting well anyway. She has her moments but that's understandable. I can hardly imagine having only one eye. I've always been good at putting myself in other people's places so I can understand their problems but this time I've hit a brick wall. I just thank God for my good eyesight and pray that Mom's left eye will learn to make up for the loss of the right one.

I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. Our prayers were answered. Mom has no cancer in her body now. I thank the Good Lord for his mercy and kindness. God bless all of you.

Max,

Thanks for the update!! As unfortunate as her circumstances are, it sure could be worse! You (and she) have the great attitude. Thanks for your honesty.

Tell her I wish her well, too. I wish YOU well, also!! Now get back in there and POUND!!!

Hey--every time I hit one of these 'winky smiley's' I'll think of Nancy!!! What an inspiration!

I'm really glad to hear it Max. People have a way of adapting to adversities and often find some blessing or new strength in the experience. Hope she continues to recovery well.
