A Couple of new ones to me

Hi guys, its been a while since I posted my new slops, so here goes........ First is a Desert Jack, I really like this one. The handle is shaped so well.

Next is my SHOT show prize knife, we won this one a year and a half ago, took Jerry quite some time to finish all those free knives

Lastly is a special Basic 7, the story goes it was part of a run made for a Navy SEAL group. LIke all Military over runs, not many of these out there. Scary edge huh. Thanks Skunk!

Theres a couple more here and there, been doing lots of trading over the spring, hope to do a little more through the summer

So, you REALLY get that Basic SEAL from IdahoScott? . . . for the sheath's sake?

heh heh heh, shhhhhh! That Basic 7 is purely for sheathmaking! yea thats it I have a special spot in my heart (pun intended ) for those Steel Heart sized knives, and when something special shows up like that I had to figure a way to get my hands on it.

No Basic 5 in this stable, those things are rare as hens teeth. I've handled only one, but its a great handling knife for sure, somewhere between a Satin Jack and a Badger. Good luck on that search, I bet someone out there will let go of one eventually.

I agree about the AD, the combo of satin finish and those snakeskin scales is just too nice, a keeper...... er .... at least for a while

Nice snags dwayne! I really like the Desert Jack too. It is a handy blade indeed. I think of it as what the KaBar aspired to be decades ago. I tough as nails all purpose blade htat is light enough to pack around in the woods, but strong none the less. Teh only thing that could be better would be a Satin Jack.

Leave it up to a Navy guy to screw up a perfectly good blade
Love the AD -- perfect size for my neighborhood !
