Blade Show teaser

It's been 2 years since I made a folder. Long story but I got burned out making them so I took a break. I just recently got the fever again and am making a few folders for Blade.

Here are a couple of scales I just did (still need to buff them). All this work was done with a drill press, files, and sandpaper. If I had been the slightest bit heavy-handed I'd have broken off one of those ribs.

Lightning Strike carbon Fiber and Silver twill G-10

I'll post pics of the finished folders in a couple of days.

Those are cool . I can't wait to see them on a knife. I admire your patience, for me after I broke the third one I would be changing my design.

Get busy? I have done nothing but work in the shop for the past month+. Some days I don't even know what day of the week it is.

I'll have 6 folders with me. The 2 getting the above shown scales can be temperamental. Getting the scales done was a giant step forward. I will have pics of finished pieces saturday.

These are special folders. When it comes to things like this I tend to get very focused and very driven. If it really challenges me then I'll do whatever I can to get it done.

Man those knives were great. These pics do not do them justice. It was great seeing them at Blade.
I would like to thank both of you for letting me use your booth as a storage area. That stuff was heavy.
Next year please BRING MORE COOKIES and those Buck=eye's were unreal. The big surprise of the show for me was seeing Barry in the Pit..... WHOW!!!!!!!. Beautiful knives guys
