Help to heat treat A2
Does anyone who has experience heat treating A2 want to heat treat a finished blade for me? Dave |

I'm hoping to ht some A-2 tomorrow, probably won't be doing anymore for quit awhile after this batch. Texas Knife Makers will do it for you, that would be your best bet.....Ray |

I used A2 for a long time and here's my HT schedule: soak 20 minutes @ 1400 to normalize, another 20 minutes @ 1775. Remove from tool wrap & air quench in still air. Double temper for 2 hours @ 400. I guess that I didn't read your post very well and missed that you were looking for someone to H/T your A2. I can do it for you if you don't find anyone else in the meantime. Gary |
