Lightbulb Something Different for Marking

After reading about all the problems with MM, I was somewhat reluctant to purchase their product. I found what is called "Peel-n-Stick" PCB film resist. It's used for prototyping and hobbyist circuit boad etching. You print it in your laser printer/copier and iron it onto the metal. Peel up the resist and there's your artwork! Then use your etchant of choice, the PCB guys use ferric chloride to burn the copper out.

They have 2 versions a dry and a wet, the wet comes off in water, the dry has to be scrubbed off with 0000 steel wool.

Here's a link to the instruction page

www.techniks.com

It's less than $10 for 5 9x11 sheets.

It's worth a shot anyway.

I'll let ya'll know next week or so on how it goes.

Will

Cool Cool!

That looks really great! I hope that works. It seems simple, and it would be easy to make custom marks for blades. I'm looking forward to reading about your experiment. Please post us some pictures of the results.
