Where to buy custom stamps?
Does anyone know where I can order a custom stamp for marking leather with my logo? Tandy Leather used to offer this service for a reasonable price but no longer does so.

Mike,
I'm on a friend's computer and don't have access to my saved info, but two I can name off the top of my head are Harper Manufacturing, I believe it is, and Infinity Stamps. - Jim |

There is also a company named "Buckeye engraving".
I think most guys end up spending $40-75 for a simple letter stamp. I heard of some that are $300. It all depends on the "art work". Most guys get more than a few hundred stampings out of one on "mild" steel so the price per stamp in mininal. |

Grey Ghost Graphics makes custom maker stamps. Dunno if they're any good, but found them through Robert Beard's website.
Someone else already mentioned Harper |

Thanks for mentioning Grey Ghost Graphics, gandalf23. I'm still using a friend's computer and I couldn't recall the biz name off the top of my head. The owner, Jeff Mosby, is a fellow member of the IILG leather guild, and I've heard excellent things about his stamps. - Jim

I wonder how long delrin stamps last. Delrin is a relatively soft plastic.

I think these are great, can smack into damp leather, burn it in hard leather or display boxes. Cliff http://www.azwoodman.com/branding-irons.html

Another sheath maker directed me to Springfield Leather. I just received the custom leather stamp that I ordered and I am most impressed with the quality. You can't beat the price at $39.99 plus shipping. They can work from a .jpeg image of your artwork.
