Hello

Hello from Indiana. I have been making knives for about a year. Though my blades are much better than when I started, they arnt perfect yet. I guess I am not able to post pics until I have been active for awhile, but will get some pics up when I can.
Right now I am using a Harbor Freight 1X30 belt sander, a Dremel, hand tools and a homemade charcoal forge for heat treating. I can't wait until I can until I can afford some upgrades =).

Thanks

Welcome to our forum! We look forward to seeing your pictures. You might consider dropping into the Chat Room on Sunday afternoon, there's a Sticky thread about it at the top of the forum ...

Welcome ER, I live up in Indy. I am just on my second year, so I'm still a rookie as well.
You will really enjoy this forum as the Mod's on here are nothing short of brilliant.
I have learned 80% of my knowledge of knife making right here on this forum. Ray has been
one of the biggest helps in creating my addiction. From his help on the forum, his Sunday night
Chat Rooms, and especially his full length video DVD, every aspect has been Top Notch.

Still to this day, I also only use a 1x30" (modified). I have now made over 30 and look forward
to each new adventure. (Ray's KITH will push you into learning new heights in your education)

With all the fantastic members on here, the wealth of collective knowledge is unbelievable. Everyone
on here will help with any questions and even guide you on "how-to's" and NEVER ask for anything
in return !! Hard to find that ANYWHERE in any industry.

Good luck in your future "sparking" !!
Troy

Thanks for the welcomes. Here is some of my work, if the link works. I am not very computer savvy.
